Join
us for this very special Sacred Saturday - a deep, powerful,
and profound initiation into the divine nature of our feminine and
masculine essence. As
you enter our sacred space, you'll be welcomed by temple guardians
(priestesses and priests) and invited to surrender into a celebration
of the senses
enveloped by the sounds of didgeridoo, drums,
tibetan bowls and bells; immersed in the exploration of taste, touch,
and smell; and enchanted by the sight of ancient temple dancers and
performers.
Then,
Michael Pooley and Sofiah Thom will lead us in an evening devoted
to Awakening Shakti & Embodying Shiva
where we'll
explore the dynamic relationship between feminine energy (Shakti)
and masculine consciousness (Shiva). Using movement, dialog, breath,
meditation, and energy work, women will be invited to Awaken Shakti
to access and celebrate the creativity, grace, and power that
is their divine feminine essence. Men will be invited to Embody Shiva
to cultivate and celebrate the presence, purpose, and strength
that is their divine masculine essence. Together, we'll honor the
sacred union of Shiva & Shakti, and practice seeing and honoring
the Divine in ourselves and others giving permission to manifest
this divinity in our personal lifes, our relationships, and everyday
living.
Singles,
couples, partners
all are welcome! No experience required. We
look forward to seeing you there!

What
Are Sacred Saturdays?
Held the first Saturday of each month, Sacred Saturdays offer
an evening of sacred ritual and community celebration, drawing from
various traditions such as Tantra, meditation, yoga, Sufism, Buddhism,
Native American, dance, chant, and other paths to help us connect
with ourselves and others with presence, compassion, and awareness.
Each evening is dedicated to celebrating your highest self while recognizing
the divine in each other through breath, movement, energy work, music,
guided visualization, and conscious communication. Practices may be
done alone, with a partner, or as part of the whole group. We strive
to create a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for those
coming alone, as a couple, or in groups; those coming for the first
time; and for those who want to join a community of like-minded people
dedicated to cultivating and sharing the sacredness and joy of life.
All are welcome. No experience required, feel free to just drop in.
